Auralis

Assemble seat cushion and pump

Start the Auralis system

When the pump is connected to a

power source it runs a self check:

Beep - 10 seconds - 2 beeps - ready

to use.

Press and hold Run/Standby button.

The following indicators are shown:

• Run/Standby

• Wait indicator

• Alternating mode button

• Comfort control indicator

• Battery charge indicator

• Green indicators on the front of

the pump

Once the Wait indicator turns off,

place bed sheet on mattress. Make

sure that the CPR rapid deation

unit is clearly visible.

Place patient on the mattress or

seat cushion.

Alternating mode is set by default.

Assemble mattress overlay or mattress replacement and pump

CPR unit is clicked into

closed position.

Connect the tubeset.

Zip the protective cover

over the mattress. Arjo

logo visible at the foot

end.

Auralis

Mattress overlay:

Place on top of base mattress.

Secure with 4 xing straps.

Mattress replacement:

Place on bed base.

Attach the 8 securing straps to

moving parts of bed frame.

• tubeset at foot end

• CPR at head end

• cells facing up

Hang the pump at the

foot end of the bed.

Place cable in the cable

management. Close the

ap around the cable with

the press studs.

Connect power cable to

power source.

“Click”

Seat cushion:

Place on chair surface.

Use the xing straps to attach.

Place pump on oor, cable under chair,

tubeset placed alongside chair.

Connect the tubeset.

Connect power cable to power source.

Assemble Mattress Overlay or Replacement and Pump

Mattress Overlay Setup

Place on top of base mattress and secure with 4 fixing straps.

Mattress Replacement Setup

Place on bed base and attach 8 securing straps to moving parts of bed frame.

Pump and Tubeset Connection

Hang pump at foot end, connect tubeset, and manage cables.

Protective Cover Installation

Zip the protective cover over the mattress, ensuring Arjo logo is visible.

Assemble Seat Cushion and Pump

Seat Cushion Attachment

Place on chair surface and use fixing straps to attach.

Seat Pump and Tubeset Connection

Place pump on floor, manage cable and tubeset, connect power.

Start the Auralis System

System Self-Check and Indicators

Pump runs self-check; displays Run/Standby, Wait, and other indicators.

Patient Placement and Mode Activation

Place patient after Wait indicator turns off; Alternating mode is default.

CPR Rapid Deflation Unit Operation

CPR Unit Activation

Press both CPR release buttons simultaneously to evacuate air.

CPR Unit Reset

Press the open part until it clicks into closed position.

Autofirm Mode

Autofirm Mode Activation

Press and hold button; comfort indicators flash and mattress inflates.

Autofirm Mode Deactivation and Extension

Deactivate by holding button or switching modes; extend time up to 30 min.

Alternating Mode

Alternating Mode Activation

Press button; adjacent cells inflate/deflate on a 10-minute cycle.

Alternating Mode Deactivation

Select Reactive CLP or Autofirm mode, then turn off pump.

Reactive CLP Mode

Reactive CLP Mode Activation

Press and hold button; mode indicator is shown.

Reactive CLP Mode Deactivation

Select Alternating or Autofirm mode, then turn off pump.

Transport Mode (Mattresses Only)

Transport Mode Activation

Press side buttons, remove tubeset; supports patient for up to 12 hours.

Transport Mode Deactivation

Reconnect tubeset; pump reverts to previous mode.
