The electrical tray (2) is fitted behind a door in the bottom of the main cabinet. The
tray can be slid out on runners to aid access for servicing. Note: The tray should not
be slid out when power is applied to the unit. Catches on the runners lock the tray
into position. To release the catches the sprung clips should be pressed inwards
slightly.
An Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker or Residual Current Device (35) shuts off power in
the event of a short to earth, protecting personnel. The RCD switch must be placed in
the ON position to allow electrical power to the unit.
Individual circuits are protected by current tripping miniature circuit breakers, (36),
(MCBs). The MAIN MCB isolates the whole unit with the exception of the RCD and
the EMC filter.
All MCBs should be in the ON position for correct operation of the unit. If a fault
condition occurs, one of the MCBs may trip out. The cause of the fault should be
investigated before resetting the MCB.
An electrical mains outlet socket (37) is provided on the panel of the electrical tray.
This may be used to power the optional data logger, FT74-90 IFD.
