Switches 9 and 10 — Cooling Mode Blower Speed
Ramping — Blower speed ramping may be used to enhance
dehumidication performance. The switches are
factory set at option A which has the greatest effect on
dehumidication performance. Table 16 provides the cooling
mode blower speed ramping options that will result from
different switch settings. The cooling mode blower speed
ramping options are detailed on the next page.
NOTE: The off portion of the selected ramp prole also
applies during heat pump operation in dual fuel applications.
Ramping Option A (Factory Selection)
• Motor runs at 50% for 30 seconds.
• Motor then runs at 82% for approximately 7-1/2 minutes.
• If demand has not been satised after 7-1/2 minutes,
motor runs at 100% until demand is satised.
• Once demand is met, motor runs at 50% for 30 seconds
then ramps down to stop.
Ramping Option B
• Motor runs at 82% for approximately 7-1/2 minutes.
If demand has not been satised after 7-1/2 minutes,
motor runs at 100% until demand is satised.
• Once demand is met, motor ramps down to stop.
Ramping Option C
• Motor runs at 100% until demand is satised.
• Once demand is met, motor runs at 100% for 45
seconds then ramps down to stop.
Ramping Option D
• Motor runs at 100% until demand is satised.
• Once demand is met, motor ramps down to stop.
Switches 11, 12 and 13 — Heating Mode Blower Speed
The switches are factory set to the OFF position which
provides factory default heat speed. Refer to Table 17 for
switches 11, 12 and 13 that provided the corresponding
increases or decrease to both high and low heat demand.
