3.2.4 Wiring of Actuator mA Loop Transmitter
To comply with EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) standards, the wiring must be placed in the conduit (must be
connected to earth ground) and shielded twisted pair cable (0.25mm
2
) should be used.
Depending on the type of input available on the controller (PLC), i.e.; isolated mA Loop input (isolated from earth
potential Fig. 3.4.) or non isolated input (referenced to earth ground) and if a Loop Supply is available, different wiring
schemes are feasible, see figures 3.4 to 3.6 belo .

Due to this arrangement the loop input is
no longer isolated which requires the input
on the controller to be isolated!
