Hang
the skirl
in
the screu/s
on
the
blade hood
and fix it
with
the large
plain
washers
and
nufs. Fasfen
the
safety bow and the
protec-
tion
ski,l on the
right side of the
blade hood
with
a
plain
washer
and a counternut.
Put
the
lower
screw
M6 into the
side
guard
and fasten
the
bow
and the skirt. Fix
the skirl
behind
the
wheel
with
the
patent
fastener
and at the
right
edge in
the rear
at the
safety bow with
the
strap retrainer.
Now
your
mower is
ready
for
use.
Special notification
Works
on the
blade have
principally
to
be
executed
by
a specialised
workshop.
The
blade fixing
screw has
to
be fixed with.a
tor-
oue
of 45-50
Nm.
The
motor
brake has
to work
without
failure
and the
blade must
come
to
a complete
standstill in
less
than
5 seconds.
The
mower
housing
may not
be cleaned
by
rotations
of the
blade,
as thus the
friction
disc
of the
clutch will
be overstressed
and
become
too hot.
This
will
cause
serious damaqe
to the
friction
clutch.

Starting of
the motor
Fuel
We recommend
non-leaded
regular
petrol.
Please
observe
the
operating
and mainten-
ance instructions
in
the
operating
manual
of
Messrs.
Briggs
& Stratton.
Filling
with
motor
oil
(Please
check if the
motor
is filled
with
oil!)
Please
fill 0,65
| of motor
oil
SAE
30 or 10W-
30
in
the
corresponding
opening.
Check
the
oil-level
by means
of the
oil-level
gauge.
Too
much
but mainly
too less
oil will
cause
dama-
ges.
Ciose the
opening.

Fuel
may
only
be stored
and
transporled
in
approved
containers.
The
fuel
may not
be
stored for
too long
period
of time.
Never leave
the
can open, as the Methanol of
the fuel binds water
and
precipitates
on
the
bottom
of
the
can.
Only buy a small
quantity
of fuel, as it may
cure,
its
chemical features
may change and
this
could affect the running
qualities
of the
motor.
Should
problems
occur change
the
petrol
station.
Only
fill
up
the tank
of
your
mower
just
before
starting work.
Filling
up
A
Attention!
Fuel
is easily flammable
and
evaporates very
quickly.
Only store the
fuel in
an approved
container.
Only fill
up under open air. Don't
smoke
during
filling
up and don't inhale the
vapours.
Only
fill
up
just
before star.ting.
Never open the
fuel
cap or fill up the tank
while
the motor is
running
or
is
still hot. In
case fuel has
been spilled,
you
may not stad
the motor. First
wipe
off the fuel
and
remove
the
mower
at
least
3 meters
from the
surface,
where fuel was
soilled.
No
attempt
to
start the
motor mav
be execu-
ted,
before the
petrol
vapours have
evapora-
ted.
The
tank
of
your
mower
takes
.1,5
litres. This
quantity
is sufficient
for 1 to 2 working
hours.
Open the tank
closure
and
fill
the tank out of
a can with
tube.

The
machine may
not
be started or run in clo-
sed rooms.
Exhaust
gases
are toxic.
Always
take
your place
at the user's side
of
the
mower,
behind the
handlebar. Never
starl
w.h.en
standing
on the right
side
-
the
ejection
s/oe.
Carriers of heart
pacers
may not work
at
the
running
motor
or touch the
energized
parts
of
the
ignition installation
when the
mower is
staded.
First
open
the
fuelcock!Tickle
three times
on
the float
spindle when
the motor is
cold.
Put
the accelerator
lever
in fullspeed
posi-
tion, hold
the lever
for the
motor'brake with
