Driving
speed
You
can
obtain a
right
drive
pinion
with the
ref '
no. 3123
(13
teethl
and
a
teft drive
pinion
with
the
ref.
no. 3124
(13
teeth).
These
pinions
make a
higher
driving
speedpossible
(suitable
for short
grass
on
a
flat
ground).
tnstallation
reso.
replacement
has
to be
done
as
follows:
1. Remove
the spark
plug
socket,
so
that
motor
cannot
start.
2.
Unscrew
rear
wheel and
remove
it together
with the
cover
and
the disc
sPring.
3.
Remove
small
pinion (Ref.-No. 3126
or
3125/9
teeth)
and
replace
it by
the
larger
one
with 13
teeth.
Take
parlicular
care
that
the
driver
lugs
of
the
pinion
point
into
the
same
direction
as
with
the
one
you
have
dismounted
and
that
the
driver
wedge
has
not been
fallen
out. The
pinions
are
marked
on
the
front
with
L
(left)
resp.
R
(right)
pinion
13 teeth

Execute
same
procedure
on
the
other
side.
6. Check:
lf
it is
possib/e
to
push
the
mower
forward
but
not
to
draw
it backward
when
the
traversing
gear
drive
is engaged,
the
mounting
hai
been
carried
out correctly!
If
it is
the
other
wav
round,
then the
left
pinion
has
been
mounted
on
the
right
and
the
right
pinion
on
the
left side
and
you
have to
change
them.
tf the
mower
can
be
pushed
fonward
and
pulted
backward,
then
the
driver
wedge
is
'missing,
or
the
wheel
axle
is screwed
into
the
wrong
threaded
hole
when
using
the
small
pinion.

be

with

service

brake,
which
works
by
the

ons'on
the
rear-wheels
and

height
adiustment

Only
adjust
the
cutting
height,
when
the
motor
is stopped.

Adapt
the
cutting
height
to the
ground
you
intend
to mow.
Ohly
adjust
the
cutting
height
in a
way
that
the
blade
does
not
touch
the
ground-in
case
the
surface
is uneven.
lt
öhould
however
not
been
adjusted
higher
than
necessary
to
avoid
that objects
are
ejec-
ted
without
control.
The cutting
results
are
also
worse.
The
height
of
the
two
rear
wheels
may
easily
be
adjisted
by
changing
into another
threa-
ded
üole.
Remove
the
wheel
boss
cap
and
screw
the
axle
screw
in an other
hole.
The
height
of
the
front
wheel
is chang.ed
by
changiig
the
position
of
the distance
ring'

Screw
rear
wheel
together
with
cover
and
the
disc
spring
in the
desired
cutting
height.
Attention
! For
this
purpose
there
are
four
threaded
holes
in the blade
hood.
The two
inner
threaded
holes should
be
used
for
the
large
pinions
(13
teeth),
the outer
threaded
hotes
for
the small
pinions (9
teeth).
Put
the
wheel
against
the
pinion
swing
it to
the desired
cutting
height
and
screw
the
axle.
