Once you have the amount you want, press S
or L again, depending on the programmed se-
lection. The delivery process will stop and the
S-L-XL buttons will stay lit. The selection will be
programmed.
Attention
In the 2- and 3-group machines, on program-
ming the left-hand group, they will automatical-
ly be programmed to the same volume settings
situated to right.
If you want coffee at any time (continuous),
press XL. When you have the amount you
want, press the button again to stop de-
livery.
4. Making coffee
Check your system: Ground, pod or capsule.
Ground (mobile lter holder)
Any type of coffee may be used. For the best
results, we recommend you use espresso
blends as the grind will be perfect. If the coffee
comes out very quickly or very slowly, change
to a ner or coarser grind and experiment with
compactness to suit your preference.
Proceed as follows:
1. The machine must be connected. Place the
lter holder (with lter) in the group.
2. The S-L-XL buttons
should be per-
manently lit, showing that the water has
reached the perfect temperature to make
coffee.
3. Press the XL button (continuous coffee dis-
penser)
and allow water to run through
the group. Performing this procedure be-
fore making coffee will eliminate residues
and establish the temperature for optimal
service.
4. The lter must be lled to 3/4 its capacity,
once the coffee has been compacted.
5. Clean the coffee residues that have been
deposited on the edges of the lter to en-
sure a perfect t.
6. Fit the lter holder in the group and turn
from left to right, exerting sufcient pressure
at the end.
7. Place the cups or cup on the tray and press
the button
for the chosen coffee type
(S/small; L/large; XL/continuous). Perfect
espresso extraction takes 20-25 seconds.
Attention
To obtain optimal quality when making coffee,
always used the 1- or 2-coffee lter.
