Ascom Myco 3 Troubleshooting Scenarios
The camera doesn't work. The camera is disabled on the
handset.
The ability to capture photos is
restricted via MDM system.
Contact your system
administrator for assistance.
The camera is faulty. Use the integrated diagnostic
tool to check if the camera is
working. If then the camera is
faulty, send in the handset for
repair. For more information on
the diagnostic tool (Factory
mode), see 5.11 Diagnostics, page
31.
Display
Fault Probable Cause Action
Nothing is displayed, or pixels
are missing.
The battery is empty. Charge, or replace the battery.
The screen is defective. Use the integrated diagnostic
tool to check if the display is
working. If then the display is
faulty, send in the handset for
repair. For more information on
the diagnostic tool (Factory
mode), see 5.11 Diagnostics, page
31.
The display is too dark. Brightness is set too low. Manually adjust the brightness to
an appropriate level in the
notification drawer or though
Settings > Display.
An adaptive brightness or battery
saver mode are enabled.
– Disable the adaptive brightness
(Settings > Display)
– Disable battery saver mode in
the notification drawer.
Battery
Fault Probable Cause Action
No charging screen when
connected to a charger.
The default configuration is to
show the charging screen when
charging the handset in a
charging rack, but not when
charging with a USB charger.
Configure the charging screen
through the parameters found in
Settings > Display > Advanced >
Screen saver.
