  If the Assa Abloy Door Opening System motor doesn't start and the door doesn't open, first ensure the control switch isn't set to the OFF position by changing the setting of the ON/OFF/Hold open switch. Then, check the electrical power switch to make sure the unit is receiving power. Also, verify that the activation unit is functioning by jumping the activation input. Ensure that presence detection isn't activated by checking the detection zone for obstructions. Finally, confirm that the potentiometer SPTE is turned to 0°.

  To address unknown spring tension in your Assa Abloy Door Opening System operator due to too many adjustments: * Turn up the potentiometer SPTE until it is possible to loosen the door arm stop. * Remove the door stop and the arm system. * Unplug the electrical power and let the spring close. * Unplug the motor plug. * Mount the drive arm from the arm system and find the 0 tension by moving back and forth. * Loosen the arm. * Connect the motor plug. * Connect the electrical power. * Turn the SPTE pot to 210° and wait until the spindle stops turning. * Mount the door stop against the closing stop block. * Turn down SPTE to 0° - operator is now factory set.

  If the motor of your Assa Abloy Door Opening System starts but the door doesn't open, first check if the mechanical lock is locked and unlock it. Next, inspect for any obstructions beneath the door and remove them. Also, examine the electric strike plate for binding issues and select the toggle dip switch for lock release. Adjust the strike. Finally, if the arm system has come loose, turn the potentiometer SPTE until the door-stop hits the stop-block, put the door in the required open position, tighten the arm system, and turn SPTE to 0°.
