Diagnostics and calibration
Important note
After nish repairing the phone, you need to execute the system
calibrations (Audio & Fingerprint) and the SMMI test on the phone to
check whether the phone can function normally. Please visit the below
link of ASUS ocial Support Site to obtain the software tools and SOP:
1. Audio Calibration (execute when dismantling/reassembling the
phone);
2. Fingerprint Calibration (execute only when the LCD panel or the
motherboard is replaced);
3. SMMI Test (execute when dismantling/reassembling the phone).

the motherboard is replaced): Update Warranty Coverage
After successfully installing your new motherboard and
completing all parts removal and reassembly steps, the unit’s
serial number is updated to a new one to ensure the application
of the new security certicate. Before proceeding, we highly
recommend recording the original serial number. Once you’ve
nished the entire component replacement procedure, please
visit the ASUS Self Replacement solution Page (https://
selfreplacementsolution.asus.com:8090/R2RMbWeb/login) to
input both the original serial number and the new serial number
associated with the replaced motherboard. This step is essential
for maintaining the continuity of your warranty coverage.
