The rinse aid dosage setting is too high. Reduce the dosage. If you have very soft water, you may want to dilute the rinse aid 50:50 with water.

Spots on stainless steel or silver in your Atag Dishwasher can be caused by: * Certain foods like mustard, mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, salt, and dressings can cause spots if left on items for too long. Rinse these foods off dishes if you're not starting the dishwasher immediately, or use the Rinse & hold program. * Contact between different metals (stainless steel and silver) during dishwashing. Separate dishes made from different metals to avoid marks and tarnishing.
