  Spots or films on the dishes may be caused by an incorrect rinse aid dosage setting. You may need to adjust the rinse aid dosage. If the setting TAB is activated and all-in-one detergent with insufficient drying effect is being used, switch all-in-one detergents or deactivate the setting TAB and top up with salt and separate rinse aid. If the salt compartment is empty, top it up with salt. An incorrect water softener setting may also be the cause, so you may need to adjust the water softener setting. If the water softener is leaking salt, check that the salt compartment lid is properly tightened. Otherwise call the service department.   The dishes may not be clean because the spray arms are blocked by the dishes. Ensure that the dishes are not blocking the spray arms. Also, the spray arm holes or bearings may be blocked. Clean the spray arms. An unsuitable dishwashing program, incorrect detergent dosage, or old detergent may also cause this problem. Select a program with Intensive mode, dose according to water hardness, and avoid large packages of detergent. Make sure that you do not cover porcelain with large bowls or place very tall glasses in the corners of the baskets and place dishes to sit steady. Check that the filter handle is locked in the stop position and that the coloured stop on the right in the bottom drain is in place.

  The dishes may not be dry enough because the Auto Open option is not activated. Activate the Auto Open option. Also, the dishwasher may not be fully loaded. Fully load the dishwasher. The rinse aid may need topping up or the dosage may be set too low. Top up with rinse aid or increase the rinse aid dosage level. If the setting TAB is activated and all-in-one detergent with insufficient drying effect is being used, switch all-in-one detergents or deactivate the setting TAB and top up with salt and separate rinse aid.

  If water remains in the Atag dishwasher, the filters may be blocked. Clean the coarse and fine filters. The filters may also not be fitted correctly. Check that the filter handle is locked in the stop position. Debris in the drainage pump, a missing drainage pump stop, a kink in the drainage hose, or a blocked drainage hose can also cause this issue. Clean the drainage pump, check that the coloured stop on the right in the bottom drain is in place, check that the hose is free from kinks and sharp bends, and disconnect the drainage hose where it connects to the sink unit's water trap to check for blockages.

Press and hold the left navigation button and the Auto Open option button until the display starts flashing. Wait until it stops flashing (60 seconds). Close the door and check that the door lock clicks into place.
