Directories
Directory search-Handset and Base
Select MENU, then scroll to DIRECTORY. Select OK.
You must use ^ or V to browse through the direc-
tory, or search to find a specific entry. You can press
CLEAR at any time to exit the directory.
To browse through the directory
To browse, use ^ or V to scroll through all entries
one by one.
To search alphabetically
To shorten your search, use the telephone dial pad to
enter the first letter of a name. You can also scroll
through the DIRECTORY by using ^ or V.
You can also select FIND, enter the name or part of the
name, and select FIND again.
Press dial pad buttons once for the first letter, twice for
the second, three times for the third, as shown on page
21.
To call a displayed number
To dial the displayed entry on the handset, press LINE 1
or LINE 2, or press SPEAKER.
To dial the displayed entry on the base, press LINE 1 or
LINE 2, or press SPEAKERPHONE, or lift the corded
handset, or press HEADSET if a headset is connected to
the base.
