LEAK TEST
Measurement principle
When the part under test 6 is connected to the device 1, the internal tank 2 is pre-filled at
the test pressure and then, it moves through a calibrated flow tube 3 which causes a drop
in pressure. The pressure drop is measured by a differential pressure sensor 4. The
pressure of the part under test 5 is measured by the sensor 5.

Test volume must be lower than four times than the internal tank volume. Standard internal
tank volume is 150 cc (option 300 cc).
Direct measurement
Once the part is filled, the device measures the leak rate through the part.
The test pressure is applied to the device 1 and then to the input of the part under test 2.
