Remove the screws securing rubber isolators to
the outer housing.
(From serial number BGB890301 up to
BGF022382)
♦
Remove the nuts securing rubber isolators to the
outer housing.
(From serial number BGF022383 on)
♦
Replace any worn rubber isolators.
♦
Fit new lock washer/washer onto each
screw/threaded rod.
♦
Secure the rubber isolators to the outer housing
with the right tightening torques (see chapter
Screw connections/Tightening torques).
♦
Fit the outer housing.
♦
Screw the compaction plate pads to the rubber
isolators with the right tightening torques (see
chapter Screw connections/Tightening torques).
♦
Reconnect the hydraulic hoses between the motor
and the valve block to the hydraulic motor.
HC 350, HC 450, HC 850, HC 1050, HC 1055
♦
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses between the motor
and the valve block from the hydraulic motor.
♦
Loosen the nuts from the compaction plate pads
screws.
♦
Remove the screws from the compaction pads.
♦
Lift away the outer housing with rubber isolators
still fitted.
♦
Loosen the nuts from the outer housing screws.
♦
Remove the screws.
♦
Replace any worn rubber isolators.
♦
Fit a new lock washer onto each screw.
♦
Insert the screws through the rubber buffer and
outer bracket holes.
♦
Secure the screws with the nuts.
♦
Tighten the nuts with the right tightening torques
(see chapter Screw connections/Tightening
torques).
♦
Fit the compaction plate pads.
