Thread lubrication
Thread lubrication with brushes
Function
Drill steel threads are lubricated using two brushes (C) mounted on the RHS carousel
lower bracket.
Grease comes from a pump (B) located in a grease container (A) at the rear on the
right-hand side of the rig. The pump is driven by compressed air from the drill rig's
compressor.
The pump can be activated manually or automatically.
