Foreword
This chapter provides instructions for daily inspection and maintenance to be carried
out by the operator before each shift.

Extra safety check
Safety
DANGER
•Danger of moving parts
•Risk of serious personal injury
•Set all levers and switches in neutral
position before preparing start-up
•Perform the extra safety check without
the engine running
DANGER
•The side hatches on the drill rig are not
dimensioned for extra weight
•Risk of serious personal injury
•Standing, sitting or leaning on the side
hatches can result in serious injury
•The side hatches must be closed when
work is carried out on top of the rig
