Safety First
General Information
Only operate this vehicle as described in this manual. Speak with your local
dealer or distributor for changes, additions, or modifications that are necessary
to comply with local laws and regulations pertaining to the use of the vehicle.
Atlas Carts has designed this vehicle to transport two people along improved
or semi-improved byways. Typical applications include: commercial, industrial,
agriculture and personal use as permitted by local laws and regulations.
This vehicle can be used in a variety of usages outside of the manufacturer’s
intent. Atlas Carts cannot anticipate and warn for every possible usage condi-
tion. It is the responsibility of the operator to exercise good sense and judge-
ment and always operate the vehicle in an appropriate manner for the way in
which the vehicle is being used.
Signal words (DANGER, WARNING, CAUTION, and NOTICE) and safety mes-
sages are used in this manual to alert the owner to important safety messages.
Safety decals are also placed on the vehicle where applicable to notify the
owner/operator regarding safe operation and maintenance of the vehicle.
Read, understand, and obey all instructions, safety precautions, and safety
decals before vehicle operating the vehicle.
NEVER remove any safety decals. Missing, damaged, or unreadable safety
decals should be replaced immediately to prevent possible property damage,
personal injury, or death. Purchase replacement safety decals from your dealer
or distributor.
Understand and follow all laws and regulations for vehicle operation
in your area.
Speak with your dealer or distributor if you have questions about any material
contained in this manual or the vehicle.
Explanation of Safety Signal Words
DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, will result in death
or serious injury.
WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, could result in death
or serious injury.
CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor
or moderate injury.
NOTICE: identifies a potentially hazardous situation
which could result in property damage.
