tion of the heating and ventilat ion system and especially how to
defog and defrost the windows.
• Never use the windshield wiper /washer system in freezing
weather until you have warmed the windshield first, using the
heating and ventilation system . The washer solution may freeze
on the windshield and reduce visibility.

• To avoid adversely affecting heating and coo ling performance
and to preven t cond ensat io n on the w indows, the air intake in fron t
of the windshie ld must be free of ice, snow and leaves .
• The air flo w ing out of the vents and t hrou ghout th e vehic le's
entire inte rior is discharged at the rear of the vehicle. Make sure that
th e out let slots are not covered by cloth in g, etc.
• Climate contro l works most effectively if the windows and the
Panoram ic slid ing sunroof* are closed . However, if t he interior of a
