- Release t he secur ing strap for the sack.
- Pull the sack to the rear over the fo lded dow n seat back.
- Raise the seatba ck u nt il it is sec urely latched.
- Fold up the empty sack.
- Stow the ski sack in the luggage compartmen t so that it
cannot slide around .
& WARNING
• The ski sack is intended only for the tran sportation of skis,
snowboards and other light object s. To reduce the risk of serious
personal injury never transport heavy or pointed object s in the ski
sack.
• When braking rapidl y or during an accident the load could be
displaced and cause injury to occupants.
• Sharp edges on the load mu st be covered for protection .

Never stow the ski sack away if it's wet or damp (for examp le, snow
melting from skis). Let it dry comple tely before you stow it away. •
Roof rack
Description
Addi tional cargo can be carried wi th a roof lugg age rack.
If luggage or cargo is to be carried on the roof, you must observe the

• Only a specially designed roof rack may be used on your vehicle
roof. This is provided with your vehicle.
• These roof racks are the basis for a complete roof rack system.
Additiona l at tachments are necessary if you wa nt to tra nsport
luggage, bicycles, surf boards and skis . All these components are
available at your authori zed Aud i dea ler.

If you use other roof luggage rack syst ems or do not install the racks
as intended, any damage to the vehicle is not covered by the
wa rranty. Always read the manufacturer instal lation inst ructions
that came with your roof rack system when you install the attach-
ments.

When installing a factory -supplied roof rack system on the roof
railing, the ESP will adapt itself to a different center of gravity. •
