- The following applies to vehicles equip -
ped with the Convenience key* feature: if
the remote control key is left in the lug-
gage compartment, luggage compart-
ment will automatically unlock itself af-
ter you lock the vehicle . This prevents
you from un intent ionally locking your
key in the luggage compartment.
Emergency unlocking

The luggage compartment lid can be released
in an emergency from the inside.

Remove the cover from the luggage com-
partment lid.

Press the lever in the direction of the arrow
until the luggage compartment lid releases .

The child safety locks t prevent the rear
doors from opening from the inside.

locks . The lock is only visible when the door is

arrow.
When the child safety locks are activated, the
inside door handles do not work and the doors
can only be opened from the outside.
