The partition net prevents objects from sliding
from the luggage compartment into the passen-
ger compartment. You can attach the partition
net behind the front or rear seats. Use the
mounting eyelets @ or @ for this.
Observe the safety precautions ® page 86.
Installing the partition net
» To engage the partition net into the mounting
eyelets (, fold the backrest forward
page 88.
» To engage the partition net into the mounting
eyelets @, remove the luggage compartment
cover @ page 87.
» Secure the partition net to the top mounting
eyelets first and then to the bottom eyelets.
When engaging, make sure that the safety
belts @ face toward the rear.
» Tighten and secure the straps @).
» Slide the lower section of the partition net @
to the desired level.

cover again.
Removing the partition net
» Remove the luggage compartment cover, if
necessary © page 87.
» To release the partition net, loosen the strap
©.
» Remove the partition net from the mounting
eyelets in reverse order.
You must disengage the partition net before
folding the backrest back into the upright po-
sition.

Tie-downs
There are tie-downs (@) in the luggage compart-
ment to secure pieces of luggage and objects.
> Use the tie-downs to secure the cargo.
