Do not use commercial ly availab le tire sealants . The electrical
components of the tire pressure monitoring system will no longer
work properly .

Used sealant bottles can be dropped off at a recycling faci lity.

If sealant has run out, allow it to dry. Then you can peel it off .
Have the t ire sealant replaced every 4 years at a dealers hip.
Preliminary steps
Some preliminary steps are necessary for tire repair.
- If you have a flat tire, park t he vehic le as fa r as possible
from moving traffic .
- App ly the parking brake firmly .
- Engage a gear.
- Check whether a repair using the Tire Mobility System is
poss ible ::::,

- Have all passengers leave the vehicle and stay away from

- Take the sealant bottle and the electri c air pump fr om t he

- Remove the " max. 50 mph" (80 km/h) sticker from the
sealant bott le and affix it t o the instrume nt clus ter in t he
dr ive r's view.

Turn the hazard flashers on if you have a flat tire in movin g
traffic. In thi s w ay you prote ct yourself and other road users.
M ake sure that all passengers are in a safe place, out of the
danger zone (for exa mple , behind a guard rail).

incline .
