Remove stations from list
To remove stations that are listed but unavailable, select [Menu]. Press and rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or
[] or [] on the remote control to select “system settings”. Press and rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or []
or [] on the remote control to select “Prune invalid.
Preset
When you have found your desired station, hold the [Preset] button for a few seconds to add to presets. The display will
show “Save to presets”. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm. Press [Preset] on the
unit or on the remote control. Rotate the [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [] or [] on the remote control to go to the list (1-
40). Select your option. Press the [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
Dynamic Range Compression (DRC)
Some DAB broadcasts offer Dynamic Range Compression (DRC). This feature allows radios to compress the dynamic range of
output the audio stream, so that the volume of quiet sounds is increased, and the volume of loud sounds is reduced. This can
be useful if you are listening to music with a high dynamic range in a noisy environment (for example, classical music while
centering). To change the DRC setting for this device, Press [Menu] on the unit or on the remote control, rotate and press
[Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press [] or [] and [OK] on the remote control to select “System settings”. Press
[Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm. Rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [] or [] on
the remote control to select DRC. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm. Choose
between de three options (High, Medium or Low). Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to
confirm.
Note: The DRC setting does not have any effect if DRC data is not included in the broadcast.
To receive the ordinary FM stations, place the radio close to the window and extend the antenna as far as it can go to get the
best reception. You may need to adjust the direction of the antenna to improve reception.
Press [Menu] on the unit or on the remote control and rotate the [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press [] or [] on the
remote control to select FM. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
Press and hold [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press and hold [] or [] on the remote control to be able to automatically
scan for available FM stations. Rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press [] or [] on the remote control to fine tune
frequency manually. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
To save your favorite station hold the [Preset] button and the display will show “save to preset”. Press [Preset] and rotate
[Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [] or [] on the remote control to browse through the preset numbers (1-40) and select
the chosen station by pressing the [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] button on the remote control to confirm.
Press [ ] or [ ] on the unit or [] or [] on the remote control to scan up and down for the frequency range. When a
station is found the scan will stop an play the located station.
Before transmission between your BT device and the radio is possible, both devices must be coupled. This process is called
"pairing". The radio is served as a receiver, to receive the music stream to be played on the radio.
If you have already coupled to a BT device before, this connection will be restored automatically when both devices are in
range and BT operation has been selected on the radio. "Pairing" does not have to be repeated. This function may need to be
activated in your BT device, however.
Press [Menu] on the unit or on the remote control and rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press [] or [] on the
remote control to select BT. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
Turn on BT streaming on your device. The device will scan for pairable BT devices in the reception range.
Select “Audizio Vieste from the list with found devices.
Start playback on your BT device. Playback now takes place emitting sound from the radio.
To enter USB mode:
Press [Menu] on the unit or on the remote control and rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [] or [] on the remote
control to select USB.
Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
Press [ ] or [ ] on the unit or remote control to skip between tracks.
Press [Play/Pause] on the unit or remote control to start/resume or pause.
You can listen to the music stored in other audio device or smart phone via the radio, through the connection to the 3.5 mm
aux-in jack on the rear side. Use a cable with 3.5 mm pins at both ends, one end connected to the aux-in jack on the radio, the
other end connected to the earphone jack on the audio device (or line out socket if available).
Press [Menu] on the unit or remote control and rotate [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or press [] or [] on the remote
control to select "AUX IN" on the display. Press [Enter/Next/Prev] on the unit or [OK] on the remote control to confirm.
