The default language setting is GER (German).
Note: Once the DCF77 radio signal is detected, the base station will display the
current Central European Time (CET), date and weekday
Time zone
If you are in a country where the current time differs from the received DCF77 radio
signal, use the time zone adjustment to set your base station to a different time zone from
the standard setting.
Press and hold the SET| 12/24H button
for a few seconds until the year
2023 (default setting) flashes.
Press the SET| 12/24H button 5 times to enter the time zone adjustment. 00
flashes.
Press the +|MEM/RF button or the -| RCC button to change the flashing
value.
Set the hour difference of your time zone (e.g., -01) to CET.
The base station will now immediately display the changed time (e.g., one
hour less).
The time zone can be set in the range from +12 to -12 hours.
When radio signal reception is restarted, the time zone setting is retained.
12/24-hour time format
In normal time display mode, press the SET| 12/24H button
to select bet-
ween 24 and 12 hours.
24Hr specifies the 24-hour format (0:00 – 23:59)
12Hr specifies the 12-hour format (1:00 – 12:59).
In 12-hour format, AM is shown on the display for the time before 12:00 noon.
The time from 12:00 in the afternoon until 23:59 in the evening is shown on the
display as PM.
Background illumination
Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button
to turn on the backlight of the base station
for about 10 seconds.
