Before working on this equipment, be aware of proper safety practices and hazards involved
with
electrical circuits. Use only power cords that have a grounding path. Ensure the switch is
properly grounded before connecting a power source.
Note:
VSP 7000 series switches do not have a power switch. When you connect the AC power
cord to a suitable AC power outlet, the switch powers up immediately. Ensure that you
connect the AC power cord to the back of the switch, and then connect the cord to a power
outlet. You must use the correct power cord for the switch and power supply.
