To recover a Flash update:
NOTE: If you do not have a TFTP server, you can find several shareware and freeware programs on the Internet
that you can download and install.
1. Visit http://www.avocent.com/support and download the latest Flash firmware from Avocent.
Save the Flash update file to the appropriate directory on the TFTP server.
2. Use the server IP address 192.168.1 to set up the TFTP server.
3. Rename the downloaded file name to svip1020.fl and place it into the TFTP root directory of
the TFTP server.
4. Make sure the SwitchView IP 1020 device is powered.
The recovery should start automatically.
