AccountInformation
•Name–Enteradescriptivename.Thiscanforexamplebearstandlastname,arole,oralocation.Thenameisusedas
analiasandisespeciallyusefulwhenseveralaccountshavethesameuserID.
•Defaultaccount–Selecttomakethisthedefaultaccount.Onlyoneaccountcanbethedefaultaccount.
Atstartup,thersttimetheproductisaccessedorafterareset,apeeraccountiscreatedautomaticallyandsettobethe
defaultaccount.Thispeeraccountcanonlyberemovedifatleastonemoreaccounthasbeenaddedtothelist.
ThedefaultaccountwillbeusedwhenmakingaVAPIX

AccountCredentials
•UserID–UserIDistypicallytheextensionorphonenumberassignedtotheAxisproductattheSIPserver.Itisalso
possibletouseaSIPURIasaUserIDifrequiredbytheSIPserver.
•AuthenticationID–EntertheAuthenticaionIDusedforauthenticatingagainsttheSIPserver.Thisistypicallythe
sameastheUserID.
•Password–EnterthepasswordassociatedwiththeSIPaccountforauthenticatingagainsttheSIPserver.
•CallerID–ThenamethatispresentedtotherecipientofcallsfromthisAxisproduct.
TocreateanaccountthatisregisteredwithaPBXoraserviceprovider,entertheuserID,password,andtheregistraraddressor
domainname.SeeSIPServerSettingsbelow.IfyouonlyenterauserID,theaccountwillbeusedasapeer-to-peeraccount.
Note
UnlessthedevicesareconnectedtoNATswithSIP-specicportforwardingsuchasSTUNorTURN,theaccountwillonlybe
