WhiteBalance
Whitebalanceisusedtomakecolorsintheimageappearthesameregardlessofthecolortemperatureofthelightsource.TheAxis
productcanbesettoautomaticallyidentifythelightsourceandcompensateforitscolor.Alternatively,selectthetypeoflight

ExposureSettings
Conguretheexposuresettingstosuittheimagequalityrequirementsinrelationtolighting,framerateandbandwidth
considerations.
Exposurevalue-Clickinthebartone-tunetheexposure.
EnableBacklightcompensation-Enablethisoptionifabrightspotoflight,forexamplealightbulb,causesotherareasin
theimagetoappeartoodark.
Exposurepriority-WhenMotionisprioritized,motionblurintheimageisminimized.Thiscanbeusefulforrecognitionofmoving
objectssuchaspeopleandvehicles.However,prioritizingmotionmaycauseanincreaseinimagenoise,especiallyinlowlight
situations.WhenLownoiseisprioritized,imagenoiseisminimized.Thelesizeisreduced,whichcanbeusefulifstoragespaceor
bandwidthislimited.However,prioritizinglownoisemayresultinaverydarkimage,especiallyinlowlightsituations.

streamandPTZsettings.
Whensettingupaviewareaitisrecommendedthatthevideostreamresolutionisthesamesizeasorsmallerthantheviewarea
size.Settingthevideostreamresolutionlargerthantheviewareasizeimpliesdigitallyscaledupvideoaftersensorcapture,
requiringmorebandwidthwithoutaddingimageinformation.
Toenableaviewarea,gotoVideo>CameraSettingsandselectEnableViewArea.
Toconguretheviewarea:
1.GotoVideo>ViewArea.
2.SelectanAspectratioandaVideostreamresolution.
3.Usethemousetomoveandresizetheviewarea.
4.SelectEnablePTZtoenabledigitalPTZfortheviewarea.
5.ClickSavetosavethesettings.

ThePTZfunctionalityisusefulduringinstallationoftheAxisproduct.Useaviewareatocropoutaspecicpartofthe
