CameraTamperingcangenerateanalarmwheneverthecameraisrepositioned,orwhenthelensiscovered,spray-paintedorseverely

defocused.Tosendanalarm,forexampleanemail,anactionrulemustbesetup.

Toconguretamperingdetection:

1.GotoDetectors>CameraTampering.

2.SettheMinimumduration,thatis,thetimethatmustelapsebeforeanalarmisgenerated.Increasetimetoprevent

falsealarmsforknownconditionsthataffecttheimage.

3.SelectAlarmfordarkimagesifanalarmshouldbegeneratediflightsaredimmedorturnedoff,orifthelensissprayed,

covered,orrenderedseverelyoutoffocus.

4.ClickSave.

Toconguretheproducttosendanalarmwhentamperingoccurs:

1.GotoEvents>ActionRules.

2.ClickAddtosetupanewactionrule.

3.EnteraNamefortheactionrule.

4.UnderCondition,selectDetectorsfromtheTriggerlist.

5.SelectTamperingfromthelistofdetectors.

6.Optionally,selectascheduleandsetadditionalconditions.

7.Selecttheaction.Tosendanemail,selectSendNoticationandselectaRecipientfromthelistofdenedrecipients.

Note

TheWhiletheruleisactiveoptionunderDurationcannotbeusedwithcameratampering,sincecameratamperingdoesnot

haveadurationandonceithasbeentriggereditwillnotautomaticallyreturntoitsuntriggeredstate.

AudioDetection

TheAxisproductcanbeconguredtogenerateanalarmwhenaudiorisesaboveorfallsbelowthethresholdvalue.Thethreshold

valuecanbesetintherange0–100where0isthemostsensitiveand100theleastsensitive.

1.GotoDetectors>AudioDetection.

2.SettheaudioalarmlevelandclickSave.

3.GotoEvents>ActionRulesandsetupanactionrule,seeSetUpActionRulesonpage41.

DetectedaudioisindicatedbycoloredpeaksintheActivityindicator.Aneventistriggeredwhendetectedaudiorisesaboveorfalls

belowthethresholdvalue,whichisrepresentedbythebar.
