  If HTTPS is enabled, make sure you're using the right protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) when you log in. You might need to manually type 'http' or 'https' in the browser's address bar. If the camera and your device are on the same network, use AXIS IP Utility to find the camera by its model or serial number. As an alternative, move the Axis camera to a separate network without DHCP or BOOTP server. Set the IP address again using AXIS IP Utility or ARP/Ping. Open the Setup pages and disable DHCP in the TCP/IP settings. Return the camera to the main network, so it now has a fixed IP address that won't change.

  To allow incoming data to the Axis camera, enable the NAT-traversal feature to automatically configure the router. Consult your network administrator regarding the Internet firewall. Also, verify if you need to configure the router settings.

  Try the installation again, ensuring the IP address is set within two minutes of powering on the device and that the Ping length is set to 408. If the camera's IP address and your computer's IP address are on different subnets, you won't be able to set the IP address; contact your network administrator for an appropriate IP address. Disconnect the Axis camera from the network and use the Ping command to check if the IP address is already in use. If it is, get a new IP address from your network administrator and reinstall the camera. Note that the static IP address in the Axis camera is used before the DHCP server sets a dynamic address, so if another device uses the same default static IP address, access problems may occur.
