TheStreamtabcontainssettingsforvideostreams.Yougetthesesettingsifyourequestavideostreamfromtheproductanddon’t
specifyforexampleresolution,orframerate.WhenyouchangethesettingsintheStreamtab,itdoesn’taffectongoingstreams,but
itwilltakeeffectwhenyoustartanewstream.
TheStreamprolessettingsoverridethesettingsfromtheStreamtab.Ifyourequestastreamwithaspecicstreamprole,the
streamcontainsthesettingsofthatprole.Ifyourequestastreamwithoutspecifyingastreamprole,orrequestastreamprole
thatdoesn'texistintheproduct,thestreamcontainsthesettingsfromtheStreamtab.
Applications
Withapplications,youcangetmoreoutofyourAxisdevice.AXISCameraApplicationPlatform(ACAP)isanopenplatformthat
makesitpossibleforthirdpartiestodevelopanalyticsandotherapplicationsforAxisdevices.Applicationscanbepreinstalledonthe
device,availablefordownloadforfree,orforalicensefee.

•Severalapplicationscanrunatthesametimebutsomeapplicationsmightnotbecompatiblewitheachother.Certain
combinationsofapplicationsmightrequiretoomuchprocessingpowerormemoryresourceswhenruninparallel.Verify
thattheapplicationsworktogetherbeforedeployment.
Autotracking
Withautotracking,thecameraautomaticallyzoomsinonandtracksmovingobjects,forexampleavehicleoraperson.Youcan
manuallyselectanobjecttotrack,orsetuptriggerareasandletthecameradetectmovingobjects.Theapplicationisbestsuitedfor
openareaswithnoobscuringobjectsandwheremovementisunusual.Whenthecameradoesn'ttrackanobject,itreturnstoits
connectedpresetposition.
Important
•Autotrackingisdesignedforareaswithalimitedamountofmovement.
•Autotrackingdoesnottrackobjectsbehindprivacymasks.
•Ifbothautotrackingandguardtourareenabled,guardtourtakespriorityoverautotracking.Thismeansautotracking
stopsifaguardtourstarts.

2.Directthecameraviewtotheareayouwanttotrack,andclick
Addpresetpositiontocreateapresetposition.

4.Startandopentheapplication.
Intheapplicationinterface:
1.GotoSettings>Proles.
2.Click
andselectthepresetpositionyoucreatedinthedevice’swebinterface.
3.ClickDone.
4.SelectaTriggerarea.
