AXISOptimizerBodyWornExtensionforhelponhowtointegratewithMilestoneXProtect®.

Note

•Thebodywornsystempusheschangestothecontentdestination,forexamplewhenyouadd,remove,orchangeauser,

orwhenyouchangeacameraname.Thistypeofcommunicationisoneway,whichmeansthatthecontentdestination

doesn’tpushcorrespondingchangestothebodywornsystem.

•Youmustconnecttoacontentdestinationbeforeyoucanusethebodywornsystem.

•Werecommendthatyoudeletetheconnectionlefromyourcomputerafterconnectingtothecontentdestination.

•Thebodywornsystemislockedtoacontentdestinationonceconnectedtoit.Tochangetoanothercontentdestination,

youneedtoresetthebodywornsystemrst.

•Neverremoveorresetthecontentdestinationbeforeresettingthebodywornsystem.Alwaysresetthebodywornsystem

rst.Ifyouremoveorresetthecontentdestinationrst,recordingscanremainoncamerasorinthesystemcontrollers,

preventingyoufromresettingthebodywornsystem.Thisisasecurityfeatureensuringthatallevidenceisuploaded

tothecontentdestination.

AssociaterecordingswithauserinAXISCaseInsight

ArecordingtransferredtoAXISCaseInsightisnowassociatedwithauser.TheAXISCaseInsightusercorrespondstotheperson

wearingthecamera.

Thismakesiteasiertosearchforandcollectrecordingsmadebyaspecicperson,forexamplewhencreatingacase.

Systembackup

Thesystembackupsavesallyoursettings.Itletsyourestorethebodywornsystemintheunlikelyeventthatthesystemcontroller,

onwhichthesystemwasinitiallycreatedon,malfunctions.Thebackupincludesallusers,cameraproles,cameraassignment,

andsystemsettings.Thebackupisupdatedautomaticallyevery24hours.Systembackupisavailableonsystemswithmore

thanonesystemcontroller.
