4.7. Smoke Number
Three smoke numbers, as measured by the Bacharach True Spot® Smoke
Tester, can be manually entered into the analyzer and their average
automatically calculated. The average Smoke Number will be displayed on the
Run / Hold screen. Enter smoke numbers as follows.
1. Display the MAIN MENU by pressing the MENU (F2) button. If
necessary, press ESC until MENU appears above F2.
2. Use the ▲▼ buttons to highlight SETUP, and then press ENT to display
the SETUP MENU.
3. Use the▲▼ buttons to highlight smoke number, and then press ENT to
display the SMOKE NUMBER MENU.
4. Use the ▲▼buttons to highlight Smoke Number 1, 2, or 3. Then use
the ◄►buttons to enter a smoke number from 0 to 9.
5. Repeat Step 3 to enter values for the second and third smoke number.
6. Press ENT to save and display the average of the three smoke numbers
that were entered.
7. Press ENT to return to the Setup Menu or ESC to return to the Smoke
Number menu. The average Smoke Number will be displayed in the
Run / Hold screen.
