EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION
• Arrange the high voltage ignition cables separately, as far as possi-
ble from the equipment and other cables.
• Do not confuse live and neutral conductors.
• Install switches, fuses and grounding systems in accordance with
local regulations.
• The connection diagrams show the burner controls with neutral
grounded conductor.
• Make sure that the maximum permissible current of the connection
terminals is not exceeded.
• Make sure that the fairleads of the connected cables comply with the
applicable standards.
• Do not supply mains voltage to the equipment outlets. During the
testing of the devices controlled by the burner control (fuel valves,
etc.), the equipment must not be connected to the units.
• The mechanical coupling between the actuators and the fuel and air
control elements, or any other type, must be rigid.
• Check for the absence of short circuits on the air pressure switch
connection lines.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION TO FLAME DETECTORS
IMPORTANT
The transmission of signals must be free from disturbances and
losses.
• Always separate the ame detector cables from others
- the capacitive reactance of the line reduces the size of the ame
signal;
- use a separate cable.
• Adhere to the cable lengths of the ame detectors, which must not
exceed 30 m.
• The mains powered ionisation probe is not protected against electric
shock risks.
• Position the ignition electrode and the ionisation probe so that the
ignition spark cannot form an arc on the probe (risk of electrical over-
load) and cannot negatively affect the ionisation supervision.
