Luminance
Luminance adjusts the overall luminance (light output) of the display. It
does not affect the grayscales of the image on the screen.
When Ambient Light Compensation (ALC) is switched on, the (manual)
luminance adjustment will not work. Instead, the OSD shows ‘ALC
Active’.
ALC can be switched on/off in the Settings menu (see further).

This is the same function as in the
Autosetup menu. Please refer to the
description of the Autosetup func-
tions above. After Automatic Geome-
try, the image is centered inside the
active video window. Its size depends
on the video resolution and the Scal-
ing setting.

Scale set-
tings
Select the desired scaling option.
None: The image is not scaled.
Best Fit: The image is scaled propor-
tionally (keeping the original aspect
ratio) to obtain the largest possible
image.
Full: The image is scaled non-propor-
tionally (the original aspect ratio may
be lost) to fill the screen completely.
Programmable: You can manually
scale the image by defining a hori-
zontal scale and a zoom factor. The
zoom factor scales the image both
horizontally and vertically.
