2 Pixel Data Output
2.1 Data Depth
The camera’s Pixel Format parameter setting determines the data depth of the pixels transmitted
from the camera. On mono cameras, the pixel format can be set to Mono 8 (8 bit depth), Mono 10

When a camera is set for an 8 bit format, 8 bits of image data are transmitted for each pixel. When
a camera is set for a 10 bit format, 10 bits of image data are transmitted for each pixel. When a
camera is set for a 12 bit format, 12 bits of image data are transmitted for each pixel.
