Minute minder
o Use this control knob to set the minute
minder and put the oven in manual operation
mode.
Selecting manual operation mode
o IMPORTANT: Before you can use a main oven function, then
you must ensure that the appliance is set to manual operation
mode.
o Turn the minute minder control knob anti clockwise, until it
points to the cooking pot symbol (
). You will then be able to
use the main oven.
o You can use the secondary oven and hob even if the minute
minder control knob is not turned to the cooking pot symbol.
Before first use
o To remove any residue from the ovens that may have been left
from the manufacturing process, you should select either the fan
or conventional oven function and turn the thermostat dial to its
maximum temperature setting. For the secondary oven you
should select the conventional oven function and select its
maximum temperature setting.
o It is perfectly normal for a smell to be produced during this
process.
o You should make sure that any windows in the room are left
open during this process.
o It is advisable for you not to remain in the room whilst the
burning off process is taking place.
o You should leave each oven on maximum setting for 30 – 40
minutes.
o IMPORTANT: You should not burn off both ovens
simultaneously.
