This pump variant has neither a suction filter nor a vacuum safety valve
ex works.
These must be installed by the customer before commissioning.
A direct suction connection without these safety components will
damage the pump.
Dimensioning the suction line
Make the pipes at least as large as the nominal diameter of the
connection.
For cable lengths > 2 m, the next larger cross-section must be
selected.
For pipe lengths > 5 m we recommend the additional installation of
non-return valves.
Keep connections free of oil, grease, water and other contamination.
The supply line is to be installed by means of a flexible hose or fixed pipe
in such a way that no mechanical tension is applied to it.
