Maintain asteady heading and observe the indicator pointer as the aircraft approaches
and passes over the station. The pointer should oscillate slightly and as the cone of
silence is passed, should abruptly swing to areading of 180 degrees from the original
bearing indication.
(9) Maintain heading until the station is passed. If pointer reversal is unsatisfactory,
the information in table 2-2 may help in determining the trouble.
