BLEEDING
STEP ONE - Hydraulic Air Bleeding - Filling the Con-
sole Cylinders
• Position the Main valve handle on the valve block to
the OPEN position. Position all other valves to the
CLOSED position.
• Press the RAISE button on the power console. This
will extend the cylinders in the console.Tighten the
bleed screws.
• When the lift ramps are 3-4’ off of the ground, stop
pressing the RAISE button and close the Main Valve
Handle.
• Open the S3 and S4 Valve Handles.
• Press the LOWER button until both ramps have low-
ered to the oor.
• Close the S3 and S4 Valve Handles.
• Open the Main Valve Handle.
• Press the RAISE button. This will again extend the
cylinders in the console while lifting both ramps. The
ramps will not be even, this is normal.
• When the console cylinders have completely ex-
tended, the power unit sound will change. When this
happens, stop pressing the RAISE button and close
the Main Valve Handle.
• Open the S3 and S4 Valve Handles.
• Press the LOWER button until both ramps have low-
ered to the oor.
• CLose all Valve Handles.
• Proceed to STEP TWO.

• OPEN S3 and S4. CLOSE all other valves.

READ THE FOLLOWING START-UP INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO
EACH STEP AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN PRECISE ORDER. IF THESE INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT FOLLOWED EX-
ACTLY, DAMAGE TO THE LIFT CAN OCCUR WHICH IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
• Toavoidpersonalinjury,DONOTATTEMPTthefollowingstart-upandpre-levelingprocedureswithavehicleon
the runways.
• NEVERATTEMPTanyvalveblockadjustmentswithavehicleontherunwaysatanytimetheliftisinoperation.
• Nevergoundertheliftrunwaysornearanymovingcomponentsuntileachscissormechanismissecurely
blocked or the safety locks are fully engaged at all four corners to prevent accidental lowering of the lift.
• Toavoidpersonalinjury,standclearofscissorlegmechanismwhileliftisinmotion.
• ALWAYSusejackstandsforanyserviceormaintenance.NEVERgounderorreachundertheliftunlessjack
stands are securely in place and power to the lift has been disconnected to prevent others from inadvertently
operating the lift. NEVER use jack stands with a load on the runways.
(Important Note: Never open block valves while simultaneously depressing the power console LOWER button unless spe-
cically stated to do so.)
