Benelli Pepe - Front Wheel - Reassembly; On every reassembly, remember to replace the wheel lock nut with another one of the same type that can be found in the Benelli Original Spare Parts.; Tighten the wheel lock nut. Check the tightening torque value by means of a torque wrench (TIGHTENING TORQUES TABLE).

• Fit a support under the sprag to block the scooter
with the front wheel slightly lifted from the ground,
taking care not to damage the sprag.
• Remove the brake caliper by unloosing the two
screws (1) fixing it to the fork. Remove the caliper from
the disc.
Do not actuate the front brake lever
when the wheel is disassembled as
this would cause the pistons to come out
of their seats and consequent brake fluid leakage.
• Loose the two screws (2).
• Hold the wheel with one hand and remove wheel
spindle (3) from its housing. Put aside the spacer located
on the wheel left hand side. Pull out the wheel from its seat.
Afterwards, disconnect the odometer tranmission located
on the r.h. side.

MAINTENANCE
ENTRETIEN
• Introduire au-dessous du sabot un support permettant
de maintenir stable le scooter et avec la roue avant
légèrement soulevée du sol, portant une attention
toute particulière à ne pas endommager l'étrier.
• Ôter la pince du frein desserran! les deux vis (1 ) la fixant
à la fourche et extraire la pince du disque.
N'actionnez pas le levier du frein avant
quand la roue est démontée, car cela
pourrait causer la sortie des pistons de leurs
logements avec la fuite du liquide de freins.
• Allemtare les deux vis (2).
• Retirer l'axe de roue (3) en tenant fermement la roue
avec l'autre main et récupérer l'entretoise disposée du
côté gauche de la roue. Extraire la roue de son logement
et - une fois libre - ôter le renvoi du compteur kilométrique
situé du côté droit.
