Benelli Pepe - Exhaust System-Disassembly; Before proceeding with disassembly, let the engine and exhaust system cool down to the ambient temperature to avoid possible burns.; Tighten the screws fixing the silencer to the cylinder and to the engine crankcase. Check the tightening torque value by means of a torque wrench (see TIGHTENING TORQUES TABLE).

REAR WHEEL - DISASSEMBLY
Before disassembling the wheel, let
the engine and exhaust system cool
down to the ambient temperature to
avoid possible burns.
• Put the vehicle on its stand.
• Remove the exhaust system (see EXHAUST SYSTEM
DISASSEMBLY).
• Remove the wheel pivot cover (1) by levering with a
screwdriver; loosen the wheel lock nut (2) by means of a
socket wrench and remove the wheel from the pivot.

Avant de procéder laisser refroidir le
moteur et l'installation d'échappe-
ment jusqu'à atteindre la température
ambiante afin d'éviter d'éventuelles brûlures.
• Positionner le véhicule sur la béquille.
• Ôter l'installation d'échappement (voir DÉMONTAGE
DE L'INSTALLATION D'ÉCHAPPEMENT).
• Ôter le couvercle de protection de l'écrou de roue (1)
en taisant levier avec un tournevis; desserrer avec clé l'écrou
fixant la roue (2) et ôter la roue de l'axe.
