Benelli Pepe - Rear Wheel - Reassembly; On every reassembly, remember to replace the wheel lock nut with another one of the same type that can be found in the Benelli Original Spare Parts.; Tighten the wheel lock nut. Check the tightening torque value by means of a torque wrench (see TIGHTENING TORQUES TABLE).

Tighten the wheel pivot. Check that
the tightening value is correct by
means of a torque wrench (TIGHTENING
TORQUES TABLE).
On every reassembly, have the wheel
centering and the tightening torques
checked by a Benelli Dealer or Authorized
Workshop. Also check the braking system efficiency by
repeatedly actuating the brake lever and making
braking tests far from busy streets.
Serrer l'axe de roue en vérifiant à l'ai-
de d'une clé dynamométrique si la
valeur de serrage est correcte (voir
TABLEAUX DES COUPLES DE SERRAGE).
Après chaque remontage il faut faire
contrôler le centrage de la roue et les
couples de serrage par un concessionnaire
ou le service après-vente Benelli. Contrôler aussi le
système de freinage actionnant plusieurs fois le
levier du frein et effectuant des essais de freinage
dans un endroit où la circulation est interrompue.
