6.5 Group cleaning
To allow cleaning and washing of the group
head, assisted washing was provided for all the
manual versions (MN) and an automatic proce-
dure for the electronic dispensing machines (DE).
The procedure to start washing, for all the ver-
sions, is as follows:
1) Open the drop-down menu.
2) Start the washing procedure using the appro-
priate icon.

3) Insert the closed filter (Fig.06, Item 15) and the
cleaning product into a filter-holder.
4) Insert the filter-holder and the product in the
coupling ring of the dispensing group.
5) Start the quick or complete washing by touch-
ing the relative icon.
6) Follow the on-screen instructions (MN).
7) Wait for completion (DE).
Warnings: in case of interruption of the washing
by turning off the machine (manual or acciden-
tal), an alarm message will be displayed at the
first start. It is very important that a complete rins-
ing of the group head is carried out to remove
any residual detergent product from the coffee
circuit.
