ATTENTION
Read the operating instructions and the included safety information carefully before using the product.
Use the product correctly, with caution and only for the intended purpose. Failure to observe the
safety information can lead to damage, injury and voiding of the warranty. Please keep these
instructions in a safe and dry place for future reference. Include the operating instructions if you pass
the product on to third parties.
INTENDED USE
This torque wrench is used to tighten screw connections to a previously set torque value specified by
the manufacturer.
SAFETY INFORMATIONS
• Always read the instructions carefully before using the tool.
• Follow the manufacturer’s specifications. This manual is supposed to inform you about the tool
itself and does not replace specific servicing handbooks.
• Keep children and unauthorized persons away from the working area.
• Do not let children play with this tool or its packaging.
• Ensure the working area has adequate lighting
• Keep working area clean and tidy, dry and free from unrelated materials
• Do not allow untrained persons to use this tool kit
• Always wear eye protection and gloves when working with the tool.
APPLICATIONS INFORMATION
• If wrench has not been used or has been in storage for some time, operate it several times at a
low torque setting which permits special internal lubricant to re-coat internaI working parts.
• When wrench is not in use, keep doing adjustment at lowest torque setting.
• Do not turn handle below lowest torque setting.
• Do not continue pulling on the wrench after pre-set torque has been reached and the wrench has
been released. Pressure must be taken off the handle and the wrench allowed to automatically
reset itself, continuing to apply pressure after the wrench has been released, will result in damage
to the part being torque by applying more than the specified amount of torque.
• Tool is rugged and designed for workshop use, but is also a precision measuring instrument and
should be treated as such.
• Clean wrench by wiping. Do not immerse in any type of cleaner which may affect special high-
pressure lube with which the wrench is packed at the factory.
• The torque wrench was calibrated and tested before leaving the factory and is accurate to ±4%.
• The torque wrench is only suitable for measuring a torque range specified under "TECHNICAL
DATA".
• This is a precision measuring instrument. Calibration and servicing must be done regularly and is
the owner responsibility.
