MANUAL MAINTENANCE
Version: 1.0 (21-09-2005) 43
6 . . Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the unit
You can clean the exterior of the unit with a slightly damp
cloth and a domestic cleaner. Do not use any solvents.
Warning:
w Make sure no water runs into the unit.
Warning:
w Do NOT clean the blue electronics module with a
damp cloth.
6.2 Cleaning the filter
6.2.1 Introduction
The filter must be cleaned regularly. A dirty filter may lead to
inadequate heating as well as a high noise level. The interval at
which the filter is to be cleaned depends on the local condi
-
tions.
The Comfort Circle is designed such that the filter can stay in
the unit when cleaned. You may however want to remove the
filter from the unit for cleaning, or for renewal.
Warning:
w If the filter is damaged, it must be renewed imme-
diately.
6.2.2 Monitoring the filter service life
The controller monitors the service life of the filter. In the
installation menu (see section
3.2.2), you can set the maxi-
mum life (the service life on expiry of which the filter is con-
sidered dirty).
