4.6 Display messages
4.6.1 Dirty-filter indicator

The number of ‘full’ triangles indicates the filter’s service life:
the more triangles, the longer the service life.
When the message R appears, the filter’s maximum life
has lapsed: you should then clean or replace it (see section
6.2).
4.6.2 Heating or cooling
~
The ~ symbol indicates that the unit operates as a heating
device.
*
The * symbol indicates that the unit operates as a cooling
device.
4.6.3 External controls
@
The @ symbol in the display indicates that the Comfort Circle
is switched on or off by a timer in or on the controller. In that
case, the
= key does not work.
%
The % symbol indicates that an external control signal is active
in a connected unit.
The working of the unit depends on the external control set-
tings (see section 3.3). Some functions may not work, or only
to a limited degree.
If settings are changed by the external control, the display will
show the actual settings.
