DIGITAL COMPASS FUNCTION:
IMPORTANT: For the most accurate compass readings
the calibrations should be done regularly, especially if
the watch has come in contact with strong magnetic
forces or after travelling long distances. For calibrating
the compass, please refer TIME OF DAY setting state.
No OFFSET is required for calibrating MAGNETIC
NORTH.
To calibrate TRUE NORTH you will require an OFFSET,
which vary for dierent locations. To set TRUE NORTH
you will need to nd out your local OFFSET (Oset
information can be easily found on the internet).
When in any application hold the DIRECT TIDE button
to enter the Compass application.
To enable or disable the reading, hold the DIRECT TIDE
button in any application. After 1 minute a time out
will automatically close the application to save power
consumption.
