How do I change the tide height from Metres to Feet?
While in the Tide function press the DIRECT TIDE button to
change the wave height measurement from either Metres
(Metric) or Feet (Imperial).
How do I check the future tides for my Local Beach?
Enter the Tide function by either pressing the Quick Tide
button or scrolling through the functions with the Mode
button. Press the START button or RESET button to scroll up
or down through the future approaching tide’s data for your
LOCAL BEACH. Hold the START button or RESET button to
return to the current time’s Tide data.
How do I use the Wave Counter in the Chronograph
function?
The chronograph is essentially a stopwatch which can
be used for several dierent training purposes for many
athletic sports. We have catered our chronograph to surng
with the intent of using the lap counter as a Wave Counter.
With most competition surng only allowing 15 waves per
heat, the Phaser can help you keep track of your progress.
While in the Chronograph function press the START button
to initiate the stopwatch.
Once the stopwatch has begun you can press the RESET
button as you catch each wave to increase the Wave Coun-
ter. (The Wave Counter can count up to 99 waves.)
The top left hand counter will keep progress of the total
amount of time which has elapsed. To stop the stopwatch
press the START button again. To reset the wave count and
total time hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
How do I change the timer preset for comp surng?
While in the Timer function hold the RESET button to reset
the timer, then press the RESET button to scroll through the
Presets. P4 = 20 minutes and P5 = 30 minutes.
